1. Who we are
Border Pets is an independent project run by an individual based in Vietnam ("we", "us"). Contact: borderpetsinfo@gmail.com.
2. What Border Pets is — and isn't
Border Pets turns publicly available pet import rules from official sources into checklists, dated plans and guides. We are not a government agency, a veterinarian, a lawyer, a travel agent or a pet shipping company.
Our content is general information, not legal, veterinary or travel advice. Rules change, apply differently to individual pets and are interpreted by officials and airlines on the day. Before you travel, always confirm every requirement with your veterinarian, your airline and the official authority of the country you're travelling to. Decisions about entry, quarantine and boarding are made by those authorities and airlines, not by us.
3. Accuracy
We build our content from official sources, link to them and show the date we last checked them. Even so, information may be incomplete, out of date or contain mistakes. If you spot an error, please tell us at borderpetsinfo@gmail.com and we'll correct it.
4. No affiliation
Border Pets is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting on behalf of USDA APHIS, the CDC, the UK government, the European Commission, Japan's MAFF, Australia's DAFF, New Zealand's MPI, any other government body or any airline. Their names are used only to identify the sources of rules. All trademarks belong to their owners.
5. Buying a personal plan
- What you get: a plan for the route, pet and travel date you choose — a PDF, a calendar file with reminders and the checklists shown on the plan page — delivered online immediately after payment, plus a link that lets you open your plan again.
- Price: $19 USD, one-time. It is not a subscription. Any taxes that apply are calculated and shown at checkout before you pay.
- Seller: our order process is conducted by our online reseller Lemon Squeezy, which is the merchant of record for all our orders and handles payment, billing and tax. Lemon Squeezy's buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
- Changing your plan: you can reopen your plan with your link and rebuild it for a new travel date.
6. Refunds — 14-day money-back promise
If you're not happy with your personal plan for any reason, email borderpetsinfo@gmail.com within 14 days of purchase with your order number, and we'll refund you in full. Refunds are paid back to your original payment method through Lemon Squeezy.
If you are a consumer in the EU, the UK or another country with a statutory right of withdrawal, this promise is in addition to — and never reduces — your legal rights.
7. Early-access discount
People who join the early-access list before the personal plan launches get 50% off their first personal plan. We'll send a discount code by email at launch; the email says how long the code is valid. One discount per person.
8. Using our content
You may use the site and your plan for your own, personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, scrape or resell our data, plans or guides, or use the site in a way that harms it or other users. Our texts, plans, designs, characters (Jet & Lag) and videos belong to Border Pets.
9. Links and recommendations
We link to official sources, airlines and other websites that we don't control and aren't responsible for. If we ever recommend a service and earn a referral fee from it, we'll say so next to the link.
10. AI-generated content
The photos on this site and in our videos are illustrations created with AI, and the voices in our videos are AI-generated. They don't show real people, pets or events.
11. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Border Pets is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for costs such as travel changes, airline or quarantine fees, veterinary costs or refused entry. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
12. Changes
We may update the site, our plans and these terms. The version on this page applies from the date below. Changes don't affect a purchase you have already made.
13. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in your local courts.
